Landscape Drill-down

To allow control over the complexity of landscapes, high-level maps can be refined using detailed models. In most cases, two levels of refinement are sufficient to allow even the most complex situations to be presented comprehensively. Principally, though, users can present their results using any number of levels of refinement.

Landscape Variants

The combination of elements from business and IT landscaping has proven its worth. But no two projects are the same. Accordingly, the individual elements of the maps can be varied as necessary.

It is often useful defining additional perspectives for a given project, e.g. a deployment map showing the potential installation variations of applications on computers.
