Project Template

On the basis of the project template, you can create a new project which contains approved and reliable structures for folders and requirement sets. The project contains a requirement specification template and format templates for Word and HTML documents.

Report and format templates

Report templates define the content of reports whereas format templates define their appearance.

The following templates are already included in the sample project and the project template and do not have to be loaded additionally. For the usage in different projects, you can load these templates separately.

Note: in case you plan on using this report in projects created with earlier versions of Cockpit, please consider the following (ARCWAY Cockpit 3.2 requirement specification with older Cockpit project)

Note: Principally, you can use the requirement specification with your own format template.  Nonetheless, the best result is achieved with these format templates, since they are optimally customized for the report.
